Welcome to LivingWithLowMilkSupply. I’m Rina. IÂ used to struggle with breastfeeding my babies.
I created this site to share about my breastfeeding voyage, with all the useful resources and tips that I found along the journey.  I started with a rough one (you can read the story below) and managed to finally breastfeed my second child, even though (I would admit) it is not easy.
Have you been in similar situation with me? Â

I don’t claim myself to be a breastfeeding expert, but I read through books and online materials, tried various techniques and products to make breastfeeding works for me and my family. And now I would like to help you by sharing my experience. I am not saying you will be able to fully breastfeed your baby or make milk as much as you can by reading this website, but I hope the resources presented here will help you to maximize your breastfeeding opportunity and make the most from what you can.

And btw, here’s my promise..
A sneak peek of my breastfeeding story..
My first child had jaundice and received his first formula feeding when he was 5 days old. Since then, I’ve never been able to breastfeed him exclusively. I continued to pump during my working days, but all I get was just 4-oz milk. This was total amount that I get throughout 10 hours away from my baby, NOT in a single pumping session.
I’ve been through times when I was very stressful for my inability to produce enough milk for my baby. I’ve tried eating this and that, taking this supplement, but the problem persisted. To the extent that I blamed every single baby cry as my fault.
It was daunting.
It was so depressing.
Throughout time, I’m learning more and more about breastfeeding. I finally accepted that I couldn’t exclusively breastfeed my baby. Well, at least I still continue to nurse him, right. After all, I believe breastfeeding is not all or nothing. Â I’m giving still my best for him, and I continued to breastfeed until he was 2 years old.
When I was expecting my second baby, I’ve become even more committed to breastfeed my baby.
But now, I have a plan in place. I have full support. And I managed to fully breastfeed my second.
But… that comes with consequences, like frequent nursing, numerous pumping, not having enough time to spend with my eldest, and all else.
The journey has not ended. And as I am trying my best to solve my breastfeeding challenges, I want to share how I figure it out with you, in hope that you spent less time browsing here and there and spend more of your quality time with your beloved family.
